Day 16/366
I’m starting to lag on these post, which I kinda knew would happen. But on this day I was very productive regarding my future. I’ve been applying to company after company for a job. I would love to be employed right about now but this freedom to do whatever is fcking awesome. After school, the military, the observatory, school activities and so on, I haven’t had this much free...

Not a moment too soon
A couple of years ago, I asked civil rights leader and former ambassador to the U.N. Andrew Young to tell me something about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. that most people did not know. Young thought for a moment about the more personal side of his mentor and confidant. He said that King liked eating catfish, was quite a jokester and enjoyed laughing with friends. Among other things, King was an...

I DID  Fandango has quietly begun selling midnight tickets for The Dark Knight Rises: The IMAX Experience in a few major cities across the country, /Film has exclusively discovered. A quick search on the site reveals tickets for the 12:01 a.m. July 20 shows are now on sale in San Franscisco, Los Angeles and New York. Is it on sale in your city yet? Will these tickets sales be taken down?   /Film...

Day 11/366
Went to Dave & Busters today! It was alright, I spent way more money than I thought I would. But It was good times with good friends, so it was somewhat worth it. But I need to start getting productive, I feel like I’ve been slowing down ever since I got sick. And I’m leaving for So-Cal in a few days so I need to feel somewhat accomplished before I leave. I need to start dealing...

Finally!
That’s all that needs to be said about President Barack Obama’s decision this week to stop playing footsie with GOP senators and push through the recess appointments for the head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and members of the National Labor Relations Board. Republican are in a tizzy, saying he is establishing a bad precedent with the moves. But frankly, they need to...

Day 8/366
So I filled for financial aid again today for grad school, and holy snap! I didn’t know you get more aid if two or more dependents from a household are going to college. If this is ture, and ysaac does count, then more help from the government for me! I really hope this information is true cause the aid I’ve been getting is pitiful.

Day 6/366
All I did today was basketball, ride my bike and COD. But I really need to start taking pictures of my daily adventures. Especially my bike rides, you really see/meet some interesting characters while riding around downtown San Francisco. But I need a fcking gear box on my bike now, this isn’t Davis anymore.

Day 5/366
They better not fuck up my favorite movies of all time. I don’t even know why they want to continue the storyline. But I guess I have to watch it to keep up.  First look at the “The Bourne Legacy“

Day 4/366
Went downtown today (well really yesterday) and they took down the Christmas tree! Whatttt??! I never got to see it lit! This is the first time in a long time where I haven’t been graced with that fcking tree! I am truly a sad panda. But whatever, I got clam chowder in a bread bowl, which was my main goal.

What we need, by Julian Zelizer
At a time when many of us are making promises to change our behavior in the new year, politicians in Washington should make some resolutions of their own. In the past year, public disgust with the politics has intensified. The approval ratings of Congress are in the tank. The ratings of the president are much better but still low. Americans don’t trust politicians, they don’t trust government,...

Day 3/366
I’ve been having such a quarter life crisis lately! Ever since graduation, I’ve been thinking alot about what I should do about my life. What should I do, where should I go, what is my next move? And all while thinking about this, I’ve been sporadically buying plane tickets to fcking everywhere. I’ve also been blindly applying everywhere in the bay area for Jobs. I...
